WEDDING CHAUFFEUR SERVICES Our chauffeur service can offer you the extra care and attention of two conscientious chauffeurs at your service. The unique style of the lovely old Mk2 is usually chosen to take the bride & father to the church and then to take the bride and bridegroom from the church to the reception. The fabulous 1964 SType is an ideal choice to take the bridesmaids & bride's mother to the church & then on to the reception. Earlier duties are often possible. For example, the bride & bridesmaids to be taken to the hairdressers. Also, you may like a service for the groom, bestman & ushers, as normally they should be at the church earlier to perform their official duties, although sometimes they head for the pub nearest to the church first! Other guests may need collecting from station, airport or hotel. Make them feel special; they will love it. Advice on normal protocol is always offered for your safety and comfort & to make your day special. Especially for you, a selection of classical and modern romantic music is available in your car and if you wish you can provide your own special tapes or CDs or mp3. Fresh flower displays are included with wedding services at no extra cost. All the Jaguars have handsfree bluetooth telephone installations. Vehicle Maintenance Policy In the past I have done quite a lot of the servicing of these old cars and understand their strengths and weaknesses really well having owned the 1960 Mk2 Jaguar since 1981. Our vehicles are professionally maintained to a very high standard by a well respected local specialist garage, Snow and Stephens of Exeter. The vehicles include modifications especially chosen to improve reliability and parts are replaced and re-conditioned as required. All fluids, drive belts and tyres are checked before every booking and spare fluids are always carried. A spare fully charged battery with jump leads is normally carried. Breakdown policy: Whilst every effort is made to maintain the reliability of these old cars, it is always possible that a car can breakdown for some unforseen reason. We always recommend that it is sensible to have a back up vehicle. If the wedding is local there may be time for us to provide one of our other vehicles. However, for longer distance from our base in Exeter we would always recommend booking more than one vehicle in which case that vehicle may be able to do extra journeys. If a vehicle does breakdown with no service to you then a refund will be given.
